We wrapped up our series in Galatians looking at the marvelous grace of God. What is this grace? Grace is when you’re given something you don’t deserve! It is beautifully represented by Peter’s interaction with the Lord Himself.

The Lord said to Peter when he was resting on a roof in the book of Acts. What God has cleansed you shall not call common or unclean. Acts 10:13-15

In the same way, we are sinners like everyone else yet we are not common. Christians are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. We are dirty and yet God washes us with His word so we are not unclean. It’s much more than just following a set of rules!

Through God’s grace we not only have tremendous forgiveness, mercy and love. But tremendous purpose, value and a rich inheritance as a child of God.

The gospel of grace also comes with an outstanding challenge to rise above self and live for God and His grace is the key to our growth and success!

Thank you Jesus!

We are 65 DAYS AWAY from our Annual Winter Retreat! We had such a wonderful time last February at our winter retreat with our high school counterpart @impactaworld that we decided to go back to Camp Calvary together again!

We are looking forward to a great retreat filled with awesome teachings, great worship, and a special time of fellowship and deepening our relationships with God and each other.

Please pray for our leaders as we prepare for this retreat, expecting the Lord to do something mighty and work through this time. Be on the lookout for an upcoming email with more details and a registration link.

Excited to see what God has in store for the next couple of days!!!

God put it on the heart of one of our very own 8th graders to share the pros and cons of social media. She did an amazing job, boldly sharing with her peers, showing Christ’s love and heart for all. We were all blessed by what the Lord had shared with her. We, as the Calvary Chapel family will be continuing to pray for this generation to pour out into each other and those around them to share the Good News of Jesus.

You don’t have to filter God’s image. He created you how you are for a purpose, and loves you as you are!
