2008 Summer Retreat Photos (THEY ARE FINALLY HERE! - with a video!)
This summer retreat rocked! We had 65 students join us for some real fun in the Pocono Mountains. We had a crazy time on the zip lines, giant swings, rock climbing wall, water wars, noodle attack, night swims and improv games. Good times.
We also learned about some of the important relationships that God wants us to have:
- In our family (love and protect them - unlike Joseph's brothers)
- With our friends (Choose wise friends!)
- With our heavenly Father (run to Him - Luke 15)
- With the Son of God (Give Jesus a Triumphal Entry today!)
- With the Holy Spirit (He is with us, in us and upon us to help us!)
Remember how God encouraged you as your read Colossians, James, and Phillipians by yourself. Remember how He spoke to you as you had your morning devotions, small groups and even on your emmaus walks? Don't forget!
Remember how you wanted to read the Bible EVERY DAY - go for it. If you missed a few days then why not start again today. Read through the small books in the New Testament - then the Gospels until you have finished the entire New Testament - have a plan!
Don't forget how you want to love God more every day!

andy lol wow i was in alot of bad pictures... lol nice job allen(sp?)almost none of the photos are blurry! i just want to say that no retreat will be as...awkward...or fun as this one. nice pick of places andy, and people dont look at my pictures too closely, its embarrasing...oh yeah i look like im walking into a glass wall. im glad i went! that was great, and andy... you have way too much time on your hands if you can think of all this!

This retreat was soooooooooo much fun. I LOVED the zip line,hanging out at the play ground,playing dodgeball,the pool & meting so many new pepole!!!

OMG that was crazyy. i was reading comments andd then i scrolled up and there was the pic of me steph alex and chase!!! ahaha well thats what i wanted to do. IGNITE HAS SO MANY GREATTT THINGS TO DO!!!! IF YOU DONT GO TO ANY OF THEM YOU OFFICIALLY HAVE NO LIFE. seriously. its right here in the Bible. JUST KIDDINGGGGG!! but really theyre really fun and you make tons of new friends. my faves are the lock out and bridgefest and this retreat of courseee. btw I LOVE PHIL WICKHAM AND SWITCHFOOTTT!!!! pceee yo.

i just got my letter today, and it totally helped me!
because today one of my friends made fun of me because on my myspace it says i'm a christian, so i guess he was kidding, but i thought he was serious, and at lunch he was like, "hey...are you going to join the christian club?" and i was like "yeah! totally" then he started laughing =P
but then i came home and saw the letter, and just tore it open...haha
and it really made me feel alot better =]
it's crazy how well you know yourself, haha
so...yeah, just wanted to say that, andy, you totally mailed that at the perfect time...so thanks so much =]
oh...and just for the record....I LOVE YOU GUYS AND THIS RETREAT WAS AMAZING <333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

OHHHH MAN YEAH!! i aslways send those fwd text things that are like if you believe in God then fwd this to 10 ppl. but not the stacy blah blah blah is gonna tear your face off. yeah. sure. come and get me. ill be in heaven by the time you kill mee =D so basically youre doing me a FAVOR. btw i got my letter too my mom saw the envelope first and she pulled out the letter and i was like ' hey its a personal offense to read someones mail ' (which is kinda funny since she works at a post office). THANK YOU FOR THE LETTER do it next retreattt and p.s. kinda loving highschool! wow i must be sniffing something...LOL LOVE YOU GUYS
