Goldfish Gauntlet VIDEO/PHOTOS
Wow this is my favorite game ever. I love it! Here is what we did. I bought 25 goldfish at Petco for like $5. They were all in a fish tank as I explained the rules of the game. A goldfish can only last 3 minutes alive outside of water. So we laid down some platic flooring and said we were going to place the goldfish on it. The game was that 3 students would be blindfolded and have to walk barefoot across the plastic without stepping on the fish. If they got to the otherside within 3 minutes we would scoop up all the fish and put them into the bowl again - thus saving their lives. So basically each student has a chance to be a hero or a... goldfish murderer. Because if you step on a fish on your way across - you kill them.
So while the students were outside the room getting blindfolded we shared the secret with our audience. We placed Manderin oranges all over the plastic instead of the goldfish (how cruel do you think I am! Of course I wouldn't hurt those cute fishies!). When the students had to walk the gauntlet with every step they thought they were crushing cute little goldfish. It was great to see their reactions as they thought they were killing cute fish. I love it.

No goldfish were harmed during this game...well...maybe two goldfish were harmed. Yummy - sushi! I tried to swallow a lot of water with the fish so that they would be able to survive in my stomach. So that was nice of me...right?
Okay it was gross/funny when Andy ate the poor little alive goldfish. And it was nice that Mike gave the fish water but he still ate it in the end lol...As for the game it was funny but i felt bad for jess =(

that was definatley a lot of fun.I was sooooo scared,especially when you told me i killed 10 of them.but i had fun and i'll be back very soon.=)

Wow, that was so fun. I felt bad for them when they thought they were squishing the fish though! But it was amazing! =P
