Your Youth Pastor Is Engaged!
So...Since I love you guys and want you all to be a part of my life I thought I would share an exciting thing that just happened. I got engaged to Shannon Blake! I flew out to California and asked her to marry me last Friday (March 2nd). She is a lovely young lady (23 yrs old) from California who loves the Lord and His scriptures more than anything. She works at Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills in southern California and serves as a youth leader. We met at a Calvary Chapel Youth Worker Conference. It is amazing how God brought us together and confirmed in many different ways that Shannon was going to be my wife.
She is a gift from God (James 1:17) and exceedingly abundantly above anything that I could ask for (Ephesians 3:20). She is a 1 Peter 3-5 kinda girl. So needless to say, I got the better end of this deal.

After seeing these photos I know what you are thinking. "Andy, she is too beautiful for you and out of your league." My response to that would be..."I know - crazy huh?"
So I am excited. You guys will love her. She is going to move to New Jersey and serve as an !GNITE leader. We are hoping to get married in September. You will all be invited to the wedding reception we are having in NJ. We are having a special youth reception for the Jr. High and Sr. High students. It will be a nice fancy - hey let's get dressed up and eat some food and do the electic slide - kinda evening.
And to answer you big question...yes...she doesn't mind my big earlobes, and yes....she has seen my purple car, and yes....she has seen me eat hot wings, and no...after seeing all that she doesn't want to break up with me. I know - it's crazy - must be a God thing.

Hi! I have to disagree with Andy, I think I got the better end of the deal... even with his big earlobes!
