I love the song we played on prayer this past Wednesday by Kendall Payne. Check out some of these lines in the "prayer" that would be the opposite of what we would normally pray, but when you really stop and think about it - they are right on target on how we should pray...

May your heart break enough that compassion enters in

May you find every step to be harder than the last
So your character grows greater each stride

What you do unto others may it all be done to you

What powerful words. It really got me thinking about how my prayers are sometimes selfish. How about this - I'll spend the next few moments praying for all of you. Why don't you spend a few moments and pray for a friend? Remember that you can always shoot me an email with prayer requests and the leaders would be glad to pray for you.
