Who is that Funny Looking Pastor?

Ciao! This is Pastor Andy. I'm the Jr. High pastor at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge. I'd like to start out by saying that I am pretty much a nerd and I have excessively big earlobes. With that said I wanted to let you know about who I am. I guess this section is for parents or people checking out our youth group for the first time.

I'm 25 years old and 6'5" tall....wait a sec - it sounds like I'm going to say I like long walks on the beach next. Let me start over... I've been on staff at CCOB since 2005 and Jr. High ministry is just about the funnest thing on the planet for me. I enjoy it more then the students do. My desire is to show every student that being a christian isn't this boring list of rules and traditions. It's about a personal relationship with God that can be pretty awesome each day as you hang out with Him. I try and get that message across each week as we teach verse by verse through the Bible. I try and use the little humor I have to keep the Bible studies interesting. Mostly I'm told people are laughing at me rather then with me.

On September 1st, 2007 I got married to Shannon Blake! My wife loves the Lord and is great with ministering to the Jr. High girls. We're excited to serve the Lord together as a team.

I'm always available to talk with you if you're going through a rough situation or if you just need to get some Godly advice on an everyday thing - LET ME KNOW.

HOW TO CONTACT PASTOR ANDY:

  - EMAIL: andy@ccob.org
  - OFFICE:  (732)479-0604
  - CELL: (646)498-3071
  - AIM: ajdeano45

Remember when contacting me on AIM or cell phone to make sure you give me your name or else I won't add you to my buddy list - DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS people!. If there is an emergency you can obviously call me at any hour, but for normal stuff I won't respond to calls/txt msgs/aim late at night since that is family time.

I'm glad to be your youth pastor. Let me know how I can serve you! I'd love to take a few of you out for dinner, coffee, and stuff like that if it's cool with your parents. I'm able to visit your schools and do Bible studies if you want too. Yada.
