New Brunswick Location Missions Trip

WHEN July 2nd to July 9th (7 day trip – Sunday to Sunday) Missions Trip Applications are due on Wednesday, May 24th w/$150 deposit (Write the check out to “CCOB” and earmark the memo “Ignite DR Missions Trip”) WHERE New Brunswick, New Jersey! – Our heart is to serve locally and bless God right where we are. We are staying at the Hilton Hotel in New Brunswick (on Rt. 18 North) WHAT We are coming alongside Pastor Jay Colbeth, a former missionary to New Zealand and senior pastor of Calvary New Brunswick. He is currently working to build up his leadership team and reaching out to his community. Our main project is helping them run their main church outreach for the summer, Church In The Park. We will have training meetings to prepare students for each of these activities. We want to bring 12 students (grades 6-8) and 4 leaders. HOW MUCH $415 per person. We recommend sending out support letters to help. INTERESTED PRAY! This trip will have lots of fun, but it’s serious business. Serving Jesus is what we are commanded to do in the Bible, and doing that in this way requires some commitment. Make sure you are reading the Bible daily to get ready. That’s how service flows best. The element of surprise.  Surprise birthday parties, sneak attacks, and just about anything you can think of is more fun than when everyone knows it’s coming.   So what about with restaurants.  Sure, they want to know when you’re coming, but do they really need to know? Of course not!   That’s why we’re doing a Restaurant Raid at 5 Guys in Old Bridge tonight!  The plan is simple:   Step One: Meet outside the restaurant at 7pm. Step Two: Prepare to charge in all at once. Step Three: On Pastor Brian’s signal, we charge! Ignite 2016 Dominican Republic Missions Trip

WHEN August 5th to August 11th (6 day trip – AIRPORTS: EWR to SDQ – direct) Missions Trip Applications are due on Wednesday, April 27th w/$150 deposit (Write the check out to “CCOB” and earmark the memo “Ignite DR Missions Trip”) WHERE Dominican Republic – Staying in Juan Dolio (20 mins from Santo Domingo) We are staying at the Los Marlins Hotel (same hotel CCS Seniors used) WHAT We are coming alongside Jay Munoz, a former SCORE International missionary. He currently heads up various discipleship ministries across multiple villages. Our goal is to aid him by spending time at those churches (all in safe locations), doing very light construction like painting and putting up wire fencing, helping to feed a village, and helping him share the gospel. We will have training meetings to prepare students for each of these activities. A Passport is required. If you are praying about the trip, you should begin the passport application process. We what to bring 12 students (grades 6-8) and 6 leaders. HOW MUCH $1150 per person. We highly recommend sending out support letters to help. INTERESTED PRAY!
